Shower Cry is shoegaze wrapped in twang and dreamy sludge from the southeastern coast. The group formed when Cheyne Greene and Anna Fitzgerald met in the summer of 2021 and started writing and developing a sound that encompassed their country roots and love for many genres and cultures. In the fall of 2023 guitarist, Josh Whittle, and drummer, Jordan Trotter, each brought their unique styles and essence to Shower Cry as a full band. Their debut record was recorded during a week at Sill & Glade Cabin with Norfolk musician Jacob McCoy becoming their producer and the week encompassing a core memory of creation among the intertwining lives of seasoned artists.  Soft vocals, swirling guitars, and dreamy sludge from interwoven drums and bass will make you feel like you’re on a sonic roadtrip with friends…a trip you’ll remember long after the sun comes up and the ride ends.
